Giardinetti is Italian for 'little garden' and describes many pieces from the 19th century depicting arrangements of flowers.

This antique brooch (circa 1870) features a basket of flowers with glistening diamonds, vibrant opals and tiny emerald cabochons. The piece is silver topped 10k gold with a twisted gold wire accent.

The pin measures 1.1 inch by 1.35 inches wide. It is in very good condition; however, there are some dead spots on the black opal on the vase.
