One stamped & tested 18KT yellow and white gold lady's hand assembled vintage gemstone brooch with a hand engraved finish. The Yellow gold brooch is hallmarked for Egypt in the 1950's. The brooch is designed as a flowering tree branch with 7 clusters of 7 Round cut natural Rubies. The Rubies are assumed to be heat treated. Each of the clusters are assembled from 7, 4-prong round mountings. All of the clusters are attatched to the tree branch by a loose rivet, so that they are mounted a' tremblant. The trunk and branches of the piece are hand engraved to simulate the texture of the tree bark. The brooch measures 48.5 mm X 34.4 mm. The clusters measure 6.77 mm wide. The brooch has a White gold pin and ball swivel clasp for durability. Identified with markings of "K 18". Condition is excellent.
